M.A., GRADUATE CINEMA STUDIES

"As a young girl I was taught to make myself small, to be quiet, to not make a fuss. As a writer, I tell stories about women who call bullshit on all that."

ABOUT DANIELLE

Danielle is a Los Angeles-based television writer from Toronto, Canada. Alum of McGill University, NYU Tisch School of the Arts (fellowship for outstanding academic achievement), and Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, she has performed at The New York Comedy Festival, SketchFest NYC, The North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, and several dive bars that would fail a fire inspection.

Danielle is an outspoken feminist. Her half-hour social satire pilots ‘Evolved’ and 'Amara Ferrante: Work In Progress' were finalists in the 2016 and 2017 Sundance Episodics Labs respectively. In 2017, Danielle independently produced and co-directed the pilot episode of ‘Evolved’, which premiered at New York International Shorts Fest and was a finalist at Just For Laughs.

Danielle applied for a green card under President Barack Obama, and she received a green card under the current administration. After that, she’s pretty sure she can tackle anything.
